Data Protection Notice - Whistleblower Channel Law No. 93/2021

This form is intended for the submission of complaints under Law No. 93/2021, of December 20, which establishes the general regime for the protection of whistleblowers of violations, transposing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of October 23, 2019, on the protection of persons reporting breaches of Union law.

Purpose and specifications of the processing of personal data

The personal data filled in this form will be processed for the purpose of receiving, analyzing and following up on complaints, this processing being carried out in order to comply with a legal obligation (cfr. provisions of articles 8 and 12 of Law No. 93/2021).

Recipients of personal data

This data may be sent to administrative authorities and police entities with jurisdiction over the matters listed in Article 2 of Law No. 93/2021, as well as judicial bodies, in the event that the practice of administrative or criminal offences is confirmed.

Period of retention of personal data

This personal data is kept for a period of 5 years and, regardless of this period, during the pendency of judicial or administrative proceedings relating to the complaint (cf. Article 20.1 of Law No. 63/2021).

Data subject rights

Data subjects may exercise their rights of access, rectification and limitation of processing with the Purecotton department or service responsible for following up on their complaint, of which they will be informed by email within seven days of submitting the complaint.
